What 4 things are you awesome at?

This week started by listening to a great podcast with someone we are very fond of. Lisa O'Neill could be described as the most colourful Kiwi there is. She knows who she is and she owns it. If you need some mid-week inspiration, you can listen here (caution: bad language).

Lisa asks, what are the 4 things you are good at?
To help you decide, consider if you didn't do them, you would not be uniquely you.
This is such a great question!

At Adroit Research, and more recently through our Research Central online community of practice for PhD students, those 4 things that we work really hard at are:
Supporting connection, motivation, accountability, and mindset. Whilst you can read all of the content in the world about how to do research, it is the day to day cadence that will get you to the end. We invest in helping you to achieve your goals and desired outcomes.

Lisa's advice is: focus on the stuff you are good at (those 4), in fact, amplify them. Then outsource the stuff you are not so good at. Someone else will be amazing at it. Find them. And give yourself a break :)
